(Greeting and request for potential authors of Mycoscience from Dr. Gen OKADDA, Editor in Chief, 2007&2008)
Dear MSJ members and authors of Mycoscience:
We are grateful to announce that Thomson Scientific decided to cite our journal Mycoscience in the Web of Science in June, 2008. The journal will get the first Impact Factor (The Thomson Scientific Impact Factor, IF) probably in July 2011.
The IF value is calculated as follows:
IF (2010) = (Cites in 2010 to articles published in 2008 and 2009) / (No. of articles published in 2008 and 2009)
We would like to request the authors of the papers which will be published in the next three years to consider deeply the matter on the IF of Mycoscience. For the details on IF, please visit the web site.
Your cooperation for getting IF would be very much appreciated!
Gen Okada
Editor-in-Chief, Mycoscience
